Tartarus - is the deep sunless abyss that is used as a
dungeon of torment and suffering for the wicked and as the prison for
the race of Titans. It is located as far below Hades, the infernal
Underworld, as the earth is below the heavens. A bronze anvil falling
from heaven would fall nine days before it reached the earth. The anvil
would take nine more days to fall from earth to Tartarus.
It has been described as a gigantic place, the deepest part of
theUunderworld, surrounded by the flaming river Phlegethon and further
enclosed by triple walls to prevent its tormented captives from
escaping.
Tartarus is the place where departed souls were judged after death and
where the wicked received punishment. Its revered judges consisted of
the sons of Zeus and Europa called Rhadamanthus, Aecus and Minos.
They were the judges of the dead and chose who went to Tartarus.
Rhadamanthus judged Asian souls, Aecus judged European souls and Minos
was the deciding vote and judge of the Greek.

Taurus
- The constellation of Taurus (The Bull) is the second sign of the Greek
zodiac. It is associated with the myth of Zeus and his abduction of the
beautiful Princess called Europa. To seduce the young girl, Zeus assumed
the form of a majestic white bull, lovely to behold.
The bull gained the maiden's trust as she picked flowers on the
seashore. Eventually Europa climbed upon his shoulders and let him amble
down with her to the edge of the sea. But when he reached the water,
before her friends could rescue her, the bull at full speed rushed into
the wide water.
Zeus carried Europa away and eventually landed in Crete, where they had
a number of famous sons. To commemorate the love affair, the continent
of Europe was named after the beautiful Princess, and Zeus placed the
image of the bull in the heavens as the constellation Taurus - which
means 'bull' in Greek - joining the honored and exalted Little
Animals in a Circle.
